Conversation
Conversation is an important part of every class at CLC. With daily, guided practice, you will improve your fluency, speed, and accuracy.
Listening
At CLC, you learn to understand real English, as it is spoken in everyday life experiences. Daily listening activities teach skills that allow you to understand "real world" English outside of the classroom.
Vocabulary
CLC uses the most modern and effective methods of teaching vocabulary. At CLC, you will learn a wide variety of formal and informal vocabulary, from academic English to street slang. More importantly, we at CLC will teach you how to use the vocabulary you learn, and how to continue to learn.
Writing
At CLC, you can learn to write for a variety of purposes - cover letters for employers, academic papers for colleges or universities and even letters of complaint, just to name a few.
Grammar
CLC is proud to have teachers who are authorities on English grammar. Our teachers teach you how to use grammar to improve both your fluency and your listening. We make learning grammar fun and painless!
Reading
CLC offers you a wide variety of texts to read. Our methods are designed to improve your speed and comprehension. You will also learn to read in different ways that will improve your writing, speaking, and listening as well.
